Real Madrid’s expensive player, who cost €103 million, scored his fourth goal in three games. This helped the team win their third match this season under their coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Jude Bellingham, who’s been a hero for Real Madrid in the last three games, saved the day again. He used his head to score a goal late in the game and beat Celta Vigo, who were playing well. Even though Vinicius Jr. got hurt and had to leave the game, Real Madrid managed to win 1-0 in a tough away match. Bellingham has now scored four goals in three games since the La Liga season began.
In the beginning, Celta Vigo thought they scored a goal in less than four minutes. But the goal didn’t count because Kepa Arrizibalaga, Real Madrid’s goalkeeper, was fouled earlier. However, things changed quickly when Vinicius Jr. got hurt and couldn’t play anymore.
Real Madrid had a hard time playing well without their best player. Their substitute player, Joselu, almost scored in the first half. He did manage to put the ball in the net, but it didn’t count because he was standing too far ahead when Jude Bellingham passed the ball to him. Another great pass from Bellingham set up the best chance for Real Madrid in the second half. Bellingham passed the ball to Rodrygo, who was then tripped by the Celta Vigo goalkeeper inside the penalty area. But the penalty kick that followed was missed.
However, when he had an opportunity, Bellingham seized it. The recent addition to the team scored Real Madrid’s sole goal by diving past his opponent and heading the ball into the net from a nicely executed corner play, securing a 1-0 victory in a match that was generally not very exciting.
Jude Bellingham scored again for Real Madrid, helping them win 1-0 against Celta Vigo in La Liga on Friday. Real Madrid had won their last two games and were leading La Liga after finishing behind Barcelona last season.
Celta Vigo was aiming to get more points. They were unlucky when Jorgen Strand Larsen’s goal was disallowed because the referee thought that new Madrid goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga had been obstructed by the player just before the goal.
Unfortunately, Vinicius Jr. got injured and had to leave the game in the first half, which was a disappointment for Coach Carlo Ancelotti. Real Madrid had trouble finding their rhythm. In the second half, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric were substituted into the game after around an hour.
Four minutes later, Rodrygo was fouled by Ivan Villar, which earned Real Madrid a penalty. However, the goalkeeper saved the penalty kick from the Brazilian player. But with less than 10 minutes left in the match, Bellingham’s close-range header secured the win for Real Madrid.
Talking Point: Will Ancelotti stay out of the transfer market as he claimed? The injury to Vinicius might change his plans. Jude Bellingham was the standout player of the match, scoring four goals in three games, showing that the money spent on him was a good investment.
